Second Series locations: Professor Otto Habbleman’s house.

In the Familiar Spirit episode, the exterior of a lovely Tudor house was used as Professor Otto Habbleman’s house. Some time ago, I asked the members of the Catweazle Facebook page if they were aware of the location of this house. One member advised that they thought it was library footage.

I watched the episode again yesterday, and was able to take a picture of the house in question. I then searched it on Google Images, and I think I may have found it? Southfields Manor House in, Dedham, Suffolk. 

When the Catweazle Fanclub visited Brickendonbury some years ago, I remember that we were taken on a tour of the estate and were shown where Professor Oscar Habbleman’s house was located. There were a couple of Tudor style buildings in the surrounding area.
