Interested to know more about these LPs. I have a couple but don't speak German. I wonder if our German members can shed any further light on them, please? Interesting that they seem to be full-cast dramatisations. Are they taken from the German dubbed soundtracks of the episodes or are they specially recorded for the records? Volume 1: Volume 2: Volume 3: Volume 4:

I am not from Germany, but can read it allright. The albums and cassettes are different from the dubbed episodes. In the 26 episodes the voice of Catweazle was dubbed by Hans Hessling and Cedric by Friedrich Hey, Mister Groome by Wolfgang Völz, Ms. Gowdie by Jo Wegener, so totally different voice artists.

Interesting info, thanks Danny. I really need to dust down my record deck and give the LPs a play.

In Germany they made several "Hörspiele" (Radio plays) of television series, like The A-Team, The Waltons, Pippi Longstocking, Max Headroom, Al Creatures Great and Small, so these releases were quite popular in the 70s and 80s over there.
