Of course the problem with Video CD's was that the quality was terrible. Even worse than some of the lower end Network dvd's that exhibit Video CD level authoring. A nice collectible though

Indeed. VCD was pretty horrific in terms of quality. I have a couple myself (not Catweazle, obviously, considering my ignorance of them!), but they're kept as collectibles only.

I only have the first VCD and the picture quality is not very good, like a mediocre ยด80s videotape with hick ups. The image is brighter than most VHS tapes. There were a lot of issues with playback, but still nice to have this Catweazle one.
