And thank you for supplying photos that are included in the book, Chas. Incidentally, anyone ordering with Christmas in mind should order as soon as possible as Lulu ordinarily take 2 weeks to deliver but waits can be longer in the run-up to Christmas. At this point, the cheapest shipping option will be fine for Christmas (indeed I would expect any mid-November orders to arrive before December).

Well my copy has been ordered! I await its arrival with baited breath. I echo the sentiments of Chas and say a big thank you to Alan and ALL the people who contributed to the book. It's one of a kind and I am so sure that Kip and co. would be very proud to read everyone's thoughts, memories and comments. Especially as it is 50 years since it's concept - what a legacy this book proves the series to be.
Alan would Talking Pictures advertise it for us do you think? I understand they are getting lots of good remarks and comments about the series being shown again and people are asking after the dvds. We should also put it in our shop (or at least how to get it) x

Talking Pictures TV is getting great feedback on Catweazle.. and the viewing figures show that Talking Pictures TV has had the highest viewing numbers on its channel (to date) while Catweazle is on. That is fantastic.
I think it would be great if TPTV could do an ad for the book (ex gratia)

I understand they are getting lots of good remarks and comments about the series being shown again and people are asking after the dvds. We should also put it in our shop (or at least how to get it) x Hi Carol,
I've sent the details to David to put it in the shop.
As for TPTV, such things cost money (which as an unemployed one man band, I don't have) and also might raise eyebrows at ITV since the book is unlicensed (as most books of this type are). The best form of advertising is to get the message out there to members and to Catweazle fans on social media and by word of mouth - which I'm doing as best I can.
Obviously, anyone who can share pictures of the book when they receive it, on Facebook, Twitter, etc, can only help the cause! Also, adding reviews to Lulu (and to Amazon when the book is launched there in 6-8 weeks - sadly, I have no control over this timing; it needs to jump through a series of hoops before Amazon will list it!) will help immensely.
And of course, thank you for the kind words about the book and the work that the writers and I have done on it. It's been a labour of love, as you know, and I'm sure that shows in the finished product.

Chas, that's great to hear. I knew they were getting good reviews and people were asking about the dvds, but I didn't know about it being the highest viewing figures. That is a great thing to know. Is there anyway of knowing what they are and how much higher they are to other things? It all helps with proving just how good Catweazle is and that people are flocking to see it again!
Craig has been asked by talking pictures to go and talk abut Geoffrey, so that's great too. He wants Geoffrey's book that he has written to get published first though.

The hardcover edition of this book is currently at #2 in Lulu's Top 100 Entertainment Books Chart. Quite an achievement. The paperback is bringing up the rear at #37: www.lulu.com/shop/top100products.ep?categoryId=200018It doesn't show on the all genres list, but I'll take 'big fish in small pond' awards any time!

Tis indeed Wondrous!!! I have received my booook today and I have to say that it's marvellous. I am not going to divulge it's contents, but suffice to say, that it depicts some fabulous sentiments, comments and memories - not too mention photos and some drawings by our own Leonardo Da Hayes! Very well done to all concerned - no fan should be without one! xx

Delighted you're pleased! Though in the interests of fairness, I can't claim to be Leonardo Da Hayes... that's my wife Alys Da Vinci!
