Let us remember... Betty Woolfe, who passed away on this day (8th February) 1982, aged 80.
She was born in 1901 in Lambeth, London as Bertha Helen Sparks.
She was an actress, known for The Oblong Box (1969), Murder by Decree (1979) and Theatre of Death (1967).
She played in many TV programmes including Angels, Beryl's lot, Crown Court, Crossroads, Z cars, Dixon of dock green and Randel and Hopkirk (deceased) often for one episode only.
... but we remember her for her very brief appearance, playing the lady at the bus stop when catweazle and Carrot board a bus in the episode 'The eye of time' from the first series.
